On 26 & 27th May Georgina joined over 2,000 intrepid runners and walkers, making their way from London to Brighton in 24 hours, in this year’s London2Brighton Challenge.
Georgina opted to tackle the course in a single day, walking through the night and finishing the course in 22 hours at 6:00am, raising a tremendous £1,500 for her chosen charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.
Made it to Brighton!
Relaxing at the end, with a welcome glass of fizz, Georgina said “I’m delighted to have completed the course.”
She added “I’d like to say a massive “thank you” to everyone who supported me and the Alzheimer’s Society. This has really pushed me; I’m going to take a few weeks, and then I’ll decide whether to tackle it all over again next year!”
